Vision

To Make the Institution an esteemed center of higher education and research, in the context of the NEP – 2020 and global knowledge competition and to contribute to the sustainable development of the society.

Mission

To strive for excellence in higher education by preparing the students capable of working towards well-being of the self, society, nation, humanity at large and the living being on the earth; to inculcate in them the civic, moral and spiritual values.

Objectives

1. To develop cognitive skills and competencies among the students.

2. To promote research for the sustainable development of the society.

3. To keep pace with the ever changing educational, scientific, social, economic and environmental scenario in the national and global context.

4. To promote innovation and establish various kinds of mechanisms for the quality improvement of the higher education.

5. To start need-based, skill-oriented, inter-disciplinary academic programs and courses in the context of the ‘situatedness’ of the institution.

6. To focus on new teaching-learning methods, to evaluate learning outcomes and to use ICT for the quality enhancement of the education.

7. To strive for students’ placement and self-employment
